Qualifications

M.Sc. or M.Tech. in Remote Sensing & GIS/Geomatics/Geo-informatics or M.Sc. Agriculture in Soil Science/ Agronomy/ Soil & Water Conservation/allied disciplines or relevant basic sciences.

General Terms

Interested candidates may apply and submit self-attested & signed copy of their duly filled application
as per attached proforma in Annexure-I. The applications should also be accompanied with one set of
scanned self-attested relevant copies of testimonials, certificates, age proof, marksheets, experience and
publications, if any as required in the advertisement. Candidates who are currently employed must
submit a no objection certificate from their current employer. Candidates are also required to furnish
the declaration as given in Annexure II. Advance copy of the application along with all supporting

Candidates should appear the interview at ICAR-CSSRI, RRS, Canning Town on 06.08.2024 at
10 AM. The above post is purely temporary and the job duration will be up to 31.03.2025. The place
of work is ICAR-CSSRI, RRS, Canning Town but project work may involve travel. No TA/DA will be
paid for attending the interview or joining, if selected. The post is purely on contractual basis and of
temporary nature. Selected candidates will not be entitled to any claim for regular
appointment/absorption either in this Institute or in ICAR. Selected candidates will not be liable to bear
any expenditure on pension contribution/leave salary contribution/ Provident Fund, ESI etc. Canvassing
in any form will liable to disqualify the candidature. The decision of the Institute will be final and
binding in all aspects.
