Eligibility
-
- An undergraduate degree in transport planning, urban planning, or other relevant fields. A post-graduate degree in a similar discipline will be an advantage
- QGIS, ERDAS, MapInfo and other geospatial software skills are essential.
- Excellent graphic skills to effectively communicate ideas
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills are required.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent English writing and editing skills
- Excellent Marathi or Tamil reading and speaking skills will be an advantage
- Familiarity with spatial analysis, public transport and other aspects of sustainable transport.
- Strong time-management and organisational skills
- Ability to maintain high standards while contributing pragmatic ideas

- The employee shall work closely with the Associates and report to the Programme Manager- Transport Systems and Electric Mobility. The primary responsibilities are given below, but the inter may be required to perform additional tasks even if they are not explicitly mentioned.

- Use GIS data to carry out spatial analysis and prepare maps and graphics

- Creation of transit and socio-economic database on GIS
- Liaise with government agencies and civil society organisations to obtain secondary datasets.
- Plan and coordinate surveys and other data collection exercises and process the data
